Thanks so much for including my cupcake toppers in your roundup! I need some of these ideas since we still have a little over 2 weeks before school starts and I am losing steam. Bring on fall! I’m ready! 🙂

Absolutely my pleasure! Yeah, I’m so ready for the fall too!

  • Reply Marie 2017 at 9:55 AM

I loved these lists and ideas! I don’t want summer to end! But then on the same hand, I’m ready for everything fall has to offer here in New England, and gain a more structured routine for my family.

Marie, I hear the fall there is beautiful! It does seems more structured, and when you know what to expect, it seems less stressful.

LOVE the cupcake toppers! What an awesome idea! I always feel guilty throwing greeting cards away, but I never know what to do with them.

    • Reply Jen E. 2017 at 10:06 AM

Cute, right!? Now you don’t have to. I’m thinking you could also use the ones the kids get from school. Even if they are written on (on the back)

Jordan, now’s the right time to stock up on craft supplies. I was just in the craft stores again, and the sales are DEEP!! Christmas is on the shelves now.

I can’t believe that Summer is almost over! Making tons of lists and planning ahead is helping me stay sane and calm as the Summer is quickly coming to an end.

I feel ya Kristen, planning is something I’m growing increasingly in need of. I’m glad I started when I did! Check out What Terryn’s got going on, you’ll love her tips for planning & organizing.

As a mom and teacher, I am so not ready for the summer to be over! Don’t get me wrong, I am excited to meet my students, but can’t summer last just a tiny bit longer? These ideas are just we busy mom’s need to ease into the school year. Valentine’s Day cards as cake toppers? Genius! I love all of Angie’s tips on essential oils because this year will be my little’s first year of preschool and I’m freaking out a little about germs and her getting sick! What a fantastic roundup!

School year is like double duty for you so I can understand why you want it to stay away for a little longer. Those cake toppers are so cool! And I’m just getting into the oils, so I really need help in learning them and using them properly when the kids go back too.

I am so ready for summer to be over! My kids and I thrive on the routine of the school year.

    • Reply Jen E. 2017 at 10:14 AM

Cheyenne, it’s true! Kids don’t realize how much they need the routine too. We let the kids veg out for about a week or two, then they have to get a hobby, or get to reading. They need something to keep their minds going.

These are some great ideas and those no bake treats are right up my ally! I need a couple of weeks to relax at the end of summer.

    • Reply Jen E. 2017 at 10:18 AM

Brittany, I’m really loving the no-bake options right now.
