Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees F. Place your garlic on a sheet pan or any other oven safe container and roast for about 50 minutes to an hour or until garlic becomes soft.
In the meantime, heat a skillet on the stovetop, add the oil, and caramelize the onions.
Squeeze cooled garlic bulb into the saucepan along with onions, sugar, vinegar, apple & pepper flakes.
Once the ingredients come to a boil, reduce heat and add the cornstarch thickener.
Simmer until chutney thickens.
Try it this way:
Lightly toast naan bread in a skillet, spread goat cheese, and add a dollop of chutney.
Top off with leafy greens like arugula.
